Bank Accounts stories
I know this is a tiny story compared to the others but it is symptomatic of the complete disregard for us - the customers. As treasurer of our local Women's Institute I need access to bank statements in order to keep track of the money. Pretty obvious wouldn't you think! Not to Lloyds. lloyds refuse internet banking to the club so I had paper statements. Loyds stopped the statements without warning last August. Nothing had changed, the statements just stopped coming. To date I have made 2 requests to my local branch (who are not allowed to print off statements without permission!), 4 phone requests, one letter to the clubs and charities department and one formal complaint posted on 1st january this year. Result? 2 letters of apology but no result. Lloyds cannot even sort out a simple problem like this.
